For those of you who don’t understand Chinese, there’s a scene in “Rush Hour 2” where Chris Tucker was standing on a gambling table and the casino officials (John Lone) was ordering the security guards to throw Chris Tucker’s character out of the casino. The English subtitle reads: “Get Lee’s (Jackie Chan’s) friend out of here”. But the actual Chinese words said were: “Get that Black Ghost out of here”.
I don’t know if Chris Tucker knows about this but I just feel that someone from the movie’s production owe him an explanation and perhaps an apology.
Nevertheless, I loved the first 2 “Rush Hour” movies and I’m looking forward to see “Rush Hour 3” but hopefully with a more accurate subtitle.
