As proud as I am of my Chinese roots, there are things I wonder about my culture, and here’s an example.
On July 20, 1969, the American crew of Apollo 11 landed, walked and played golf on the surface of the moon. And the world witnessed that the moon is deserted.
So, why in August-September of every year are we still offering moon cakes to honour the moon goddess? There’s nobody there!
And I love to eat them moon cakes.
