January, 1990, Wing has returned to his roots in China. It was a 36 hour trip from Montreal to Chicago, Tokyo, Hong Kong, then followed by a 6 hour ferry ride to arrive at this village where Wing stayed.

Winter there has an average low of 5c for about two weeks in January. There are no heating systems in most of southern China. Oil lamps are still in use. And Wing loves to bathe in the water from local wells.
